My late husband and I had been looking for a church for 10 years. He went home to be with the Lord 8 months ago. In January I asked the Lord to give me sign if this was my church. Not only did He give me a sign, He gave me two and looking back now, He actually gave me three. This church, the people in it have welcomed me, embraced me in all of my brokenness, and loved me. They have become my family. I don’t say that lightly. I love Kingdom House and everyone in it for leading with the love of Jesus!

I never really feel welcomed anywhere. I just grow accustomed. From the first day I went to that interest meeting when I was wanting to turn my back on churches and walk my own path again. You guys made it feel like a family I’ve yearned for. As someone who’s been hurt a lot, and always been trying to hide my emotions behind walls. I never felt like I needed to do that here.

As a mother I was watching my son go down a path that was not bringing him closer to Jesus. I felt like he was lost. We had not found a church that we could connect with. The week we were starting our search again, we found Kingdom House would be launching that weekend at my son’s school of all places. That gave me the encouragement and hope that this is where we were supposed to be. It was the best decision for us in this moment.
